If you are
interested in a career as a Steamfitter, you are welcome to apply for the
apprenticeship program. Please carefully
read all of the information below.

must be 18 years old by August 15, 2018 (born before August 15, 2000)
Minimum Requirements for the 2018 application period:
is a $50.00 non-refundable application processing fee due at the time of
application that is payable in cash or money order only. All money orders are to be made payable to
school diploma by June 30, 2018 or GED certificate by December 31, 2017
are not acceptable.
diplomas are not accepted.
foreign documents must be accompanied by a translation of that document and a
letter from your embassy stating its authenticity. For any diploma and/or transcript, the letter
must document the equivalency of this diploma and/or transcript.
original documents must be presented at the time of application – no exceptions
or substitutions accepted.
do not procrastinate compiling these documents.
Replacements may take several weeks to obtain.
Transcript of High School Grades (Must be in a sealed envelope from the school
and have a raised seal affixed). High
school seniors must also provide a letter from their guidance counselor on
school letterhead stating that they will graduate by June 30, 2017.

Applicants must provide all of the following additional

Upon completion of your application, you will be
eligible to take an aptitude and/or math test starting the same day. Here is a study guide to help prepare you for the test:

If you are interested in applying, make sure that you follow
the instructions above. When you come in
to apply, please make sure you have all the required documentation and the

interview and miss it, your application will not be considered and you will be

your address current with the apprenticeship office. You will be liable if you do not contact the
apprentice office of an address change in a timely manner. After applying, you are asked to not contact the
apprentice office about the status of your application. You will be notified of your application
status by mail only!
